This is home.
Service is personal.

Before the courtroom, there was a classroom. Before a career in public service, there was a kid growing up in Bakersfield.

Pedro was born and raised here. He attended local schools and earned a double major in Political Science and Philosophy at CSU Bakersfield before studying law at Santa Clara University.

His work has taken him from helping middle school students with homework to helping residents navigate county government, and from the Kern County District Attorney's Office to serving as a federal prosecutor.

Today, he's back at the Kern County District Attorney's Office, serving in its Gang/Violent Crime Unit. He's also a union member and a former shop steward for the Kern DA's union.
